Ethics Consultations
Clinical Social Workers confront ethical dilemmas, whether in agency or private practice, regarding issues such as:
- Confidentiality
- Reporting requirements
- Termination
If you are unsure if your concern is ethical, legal or clinical, please submit a request anyway. In our shared experience, most ethical consultations touch on all three aspects. We will refer, if appropriate. Data is collected regarding consultations and utilized for training and feedback opportunities FOR CSCSW ONLY. We ask that you provide ONLY necessary information avoiding identifying client information as much as possible.
The information below outlines the service and provides the steps necessary to initiate a consultation.
HOW DOES ONE REQUEST A CONSULT?The ethics consult can be initiated by completing the Ethics Consultation Form that can be found at the Member's Only area of the website. If you are a member be sure to log in to see this page (you will be asked for login information), if you are not a member, please join today to have access to this form.
