MAKE A DONATIONA Legacy of Clinical ExcellenceJannette Alexander was a founder and former President of the California Society for Clinical Social Work. Throughout her career, she championed clinical excellence, ethical practice, and professional education. She helped establish the California Institute for Clinical Social Work, served as President of its Board of Trustees, and held clinical and leadership positions in psychiatric, child guidance, and family service settings. Her work also included research through the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. Her dedication to the profession continues through the Jannette Alexander Foundation for Clinical Social Work Education , established to recognize and support outstanding emerging clinical social workers. Investing in Future Clinical Social WorkersSince 1999, the Jannette Alexander Foundation has supported graduate social work education through scholarships recognizing excellence in clinical studies and practice. Each year, the Foundation recognizes exceptional advanced-year Master of Social Work (MSW) students who are approaching graduation from accredited California graduate social work programs. |
