Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker who started her career working in a non-profit clinic providing reproductive and abortion care. Previously she worked with Planned Parenthood Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley and worked to build and establish a mental health program serving current patients. She also worked at UCLA as the Director of the Campus Assault Resources & Education Program as well as with various non-profits with a focus on LGBTQIA2S+ communities, social justice issues, and providing mental health services and resources to underserved communities. Jennifer is a skilled therapist, trainer, and presenter whose areas of expertise are the impact of trauma and trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ issues, intersectional identities, (re)building coping skills, grief and loss. and mental health education.
